Three Ways To Make Money Writing

Uncategorized May 10, 2021

Have you always dreamed of making money writing? Do you have the creative spark to share your written works? If so, you can make money writing. Here are a few ways to earn income from your writing.

1. Blog posts or articles, many writers make money by writing articles for different publications or by monetizing blog posts. There are many ways to monetize your blog post. One way is to get paid sponsorships, reach out to business owners that promote products and services tied to your writing niche. Start with low price points to get them on board and as your blog grows you can increase the cost to advertise on your blog.

2. Publishing a book, you can self-publish or have your book traditional published and make money from book sales. If you have the desire to turn your writing into a book, then go for it. Writing a book is a great way to make money and you can publish the book yourself or you can submit your book to literary agents or traditional publishers and work on getting a book deal.

3. Paid reading sites, Amazon has come out with a new platform called Kindle Vella that compensates authors when readers read their work. There are several similar platforms like Kindle Vella such as Radish or Medium.  This is a growing market and not only can you make money but this will allow you to grow visibility and attract readers to your other works such as a book. Fiction is a great way to utilize these platforms but remember, you must post often and these outlets are looking for episodic stories. Think of it like a T.V. series, where new episodes release each week.
